MODERN LIMA TOUR DESCRIPTION:

Lima was founded by spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro in 1532, and it use to be the most important city of Spain's South American empire. Today's Lima is a modern and huge metropolis, with one third of peruvian population (officially 9 million people, but even more with daily migrations).
We will show you the most important places, a highlight of modern Lima, where you will also have a chance to enjoy some free time for shopping.

MODERN LIMA TOUR ITINERARY:

We will pick you up at your hotel/apartment, then we will start visiting the most traditional residential areas of contemporary Lima: The Olive Grove of San Isidro, Miraflores Main Square (Kenneddy Park), Parque del Amor (Lover's Park) with ocean front to enjoy a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. We will also visit Larco Mar Shopping Mall, which has become a distinctive tourist centre of contemporary Lima.
Then we will leave Miraflores and head to another beautiful residential area called Surco, where we will see it's best part called Chacarilla.
At the end we will go to Jockey Plaza, according to many, the best shopping mall in all South America. There are plenty of excellent shops, art galleries and restaurants in the area. You can find high quality crafts, including alpaca and silverware, together with some fine stores of stylish clothes. It is a great place to find bargains on quality stuff.

Tour duration is 3 and a half hours (approximately).
