Peru is a country with huge tourist potential, both cultural and natural, it has so much to offer.
Among the most important tourist attractions in Peru are impressive ruins of Machu Picchu and the city of Cuzco, mystical Nazca Lines and Nazca Geoglyphs, Fortress of Chavin de Huantar, Ancient City of Caral, Manu National Park, Huascaran National Park, pre-Columbian city of clay Chan Chan, Lima's Historical Centre, Arequipa's Historical Centre and many more.
All of them are declared as a World Cultural Heritage or World Natural Heritage.
Peru is the third largest country of Latin America, with Lima as a capital city, founded by Pizarro.
Geographicaly it can be divided in three regions:
Coastline, Andean Mountains and Amazon Rainforest.
The rainy season in the mountains and Amazon is from January to April.
